Please read what I have said. I can assure you, I only care about the truth. You sound as though you dismiss the condition of those like my grandson. There is no way that what happened to him is "normal". He could possibly be put in that category now but a youngster that still does not speak well at age five, did not make eye contact, would run away because he was not aware of where he was, walked on his tip toes and flapped his hands, he could not have been called normal.

Do I believe that all vaccines are dangerous--of course not but neither am I convinced that there might not be some problem with either certain vaccines, perhaps the mercury contamination, the combinations or the frequency, etc.

I have never read of one person that has a theory of what is causing it. Do I agree with those who claim there are far too many so-called cases? Yup. I believe there are those who will look for excuses for financial gain, etc. but I also believe we do have increased cases and there has to be a reason.

Actually there is plenty of literature on the subject, mostly having to do with a genetic predisposition and also some environmental factors. But you have to go looking for it because it's hard to find amidst all the media uproar about vaccine conspiracies.

And I'm not dismissing your grandson's condition, but it wasn't classic autism because it got better. There are all sorts of developmental disorders that are not autism but involve late speech, withdrawal, and gait abnormalities. In fact, if you leave out the gait abnormalities you could be describing my second child. He got better too.

It is a waste of time and money for us to keep beating our heads against the wall over an exploded theory.
