I want to know what caused it. What if my grandson has children? Is it likely to happen again and even get worse?
It's to everyone's advantage to get honest answers and not jump to conclusions or ridicule what others believe.
I know from talking to many parent of children with autism, we continually hear a similar story of the child being completely normal until about the age of 18 months and something happens to reverse the progress.
Why?
I say you stop being insensitive to people whose children die of preventable diseases because you grab hold of junk science.
I'm not convinced it is the vaccine itself, but perhaps the ingredients they use as carriers in the vaccines, because it isn't just our children being affected but our animals as well... that is something I have had personal experience with -- and people would be stunned at the sheer numbers in their population as well.
18 months is an age when children start to become exposed to many new things.
It could be related to any of those exposures or may be related to none. 18 months may simply be the time the disease typically presents just like migraines usually starts in late adolesence and schizophrenia usually starts in early adulthood.
There is a lot of angst for something that may be bad luck. I think it is unfair to saddle parents with the belief they may have been able to stop the condition when there was nothing they could have done.
