Yes, to oversimplify, it’s just a type of wart in a rather sensitive spot.
So it spreads like warts.
There is no reliable way to test for HPV in males.
No reliable blood test, I mean.
Thanks. I was just getting ready to tell the cretin the same thing.

Bull. Before the sexual revolution, the norm was to remain a virgin until at least engaged. Did people have sex before marriage? Of course, but not like today.
We have normalized it. Made it all okay. Told girls that “hooking up” is cool when all it really comes down to is some guy masterbating in her vagina. We need to start pushing self respect to our girls and some of these problems would be curbed.
Just as the threat of having a baby and “working in someone else’s kitchen” kept girls from premarital sex in the early 1900s, we can push the self respect issue with our girls and make them understand that their bodies are theirs.
Coming from the 1970s when this was all beginning, I can’t tell you the amount of my friends who are depressed that they slept with a different man every weekend. I thank God I didn’t.
“HPV vaccine protects against the types of HPV that most commonly cause cervical cancer and genital warts. This vaccine is recommended for 11 and 12 year old girls. Ideally girls should get 3 doses of this vaccine before their first sexual contact when they could be exposed to HPV. If your teenage daughter missed getting the vaccine when she was 11 or 12, ask her doctor about getting it now.
This is a condition contracted by sexually permissive girls. Believe it or not, all young girls are NOT whores.”
The rationale for giving HPV vaccine to young girls is twofold:
1. There is a much better immune response to the vaccine in the 9-12 year-old group than in older vaccinees.
2. It makes sense to immunize people BEFORE they become sexually active, since the vaccine has no protective effect against genital warts or cervical/vaginal/vulvar cancer AFTER sexual exposure to the causative virus(es).
>>Have you taken any prescription medicine since Thalidomide was found to cause birth defects? <<
Not Thalidomide.
But I avoid chemicals as much as possible.
Do you think drugs should be mandated by the government? I don’t. I think common sense and education works wonders. I vaccinated my kids because it was good common sense. The flu vaccine, why bother? We’ve lived through flu before and will again.
Not so. You should read up on the syphilis epidemics of the first half of the 20th century. That disease was incredibly prevalent back then. In fact, The American Journal of Dermatology was originally called The American Journal of Dermatology and Syphilology to reflect the enormous burden of that disease. The idea that previous generations were well behaved compared to today is a myth, I'm afraid. They fooled around plenty back then.
Some magazine I was reading a few months ago did an article on the children of one sperm donor back east, whose sperm produced ten or fifteen children...every one had autism. It was heartbreaking.
We just don't appreciate how bad some of the outcomes of those childhood diseases were, before vaccines. Most of us were lucky -- but some little kids weren't. We don't hear from them because they're not here.
My earliest memory is of my mother giving me alcohol sponge baths to try and break my 106 degree fever. People die or suffer permanent brain damage from measles.
>>The idea that previous generations were well behaved compared to today is a myth, I’m afraid.<<
Wow, you sound just like the MSM.
>>Well, chicken pox can give you shingles, and measles can make you blind, and German measles will cause severe deformities in an unborn baby, and mumps can make little boys sterile . . . and certainly people die from whooping cough.<<
I immunized my kids. I don’t do flu vaccines though.
Autism is not the only damage caused by vaccines.
Nearly 99% of the time it is the WRONG STRAIN and they don't exempt you from the flu. The elderly should definitely NOT get those shots.
The GERMS are STRONGER than what they used to use in the old days and now there are TOO MANY STRONG GERMS being injected into little kids with immature immune systems. It's a game of Russian Roulette.
I'm afraid you've gotten some bad information. It is the wrong strain some times, but definitely NOT "99%" of the time. The CDC says
In 16 of the last 20 U.S. influenza seasons, including the 2007-08 season, the viruses in the influenza vaccine have been well matched to the predominant circulating viruses. Since 1988, there has only been one season (1997-98) when there was very low cross-reaction between the viruses in the vaccine and the predominate circulating virus and three seasons (1992-93, 2003-04, and 2007-08) when there was low cross-reaction.They also note that even when the match is not good, there is often some cross reactivity which gives some protection. Also, the elderly should definitely get flu shots, as they, young children, and those with certain medical problems are most at risk of dying from the flu.
Also, no vaccines are made with live "strong germs." The existing live vaccines are made with deliberately weakened (attenuated) versions of the virus or bacteria.
Not so. Unlike the MSM I'm merely presenting facts.
