I keep dreaming of a strong GOP candidate in IL campaigning for Obombah’s seat on a theme something like “Restoring Integrity To IL Politics”. He/she might not win, but it would sure shake things up. Undoubtedly the Chicago Machine (and probably Obombah) would pull out all the stops to smear such a candidate, but, who knows, if downstate voters and those outside the collar counties are fed up enough with the scandals and being a national laughingstock, we just might pull it off.

Too bad we can’t get Pete Fitzgerald back. He beat the machine and was reviled by the RINO Combiners. Ray “LaThug” got his reward for running him out of office by the False Messiah giving him a Cabinet post. Real nice.

As for other choices, either John Shimkus or Peter Roskam would be fine. Mark Kirk is 100% unacceptable.
