From what I can decipher, the vote counting is happening behind closed doors, not actually on the floor.
Until they know that they have enough, they won’t call for a vote.
They have Cogdill, the “leader” saying this is the “best deal he could get.” Now they just need one more. It seems Cox, Maldonado, and Ashburn were labeled as potential targets. No one has openly given in yet, though.
I may have this wrong, but that’s my understanding.

Hey! It’s a huge power struggle and in spite of the white hot pressure cooker these struggling Repubs are trying to withstand, they can be made to feel awfully small by a feeling that they are all alone. Which isn’t true and we should call/write and keep reminding them that we are with them and how good they will feel later if they keep their fingers in the dikes!!!
