SANTA FE, N.M. - Former astronaut Harrison Schmitt, who walked on the moon and once served New Mexico in the U.S. Senate, doesnt believe that humans are causing global warming.
"I dont think the human effect is significant compared to the natural effect," said Schmitt, who is among 70 skeptics scheduled to speak next month at the International Conference on Climate Change in New York.
Schmitt contends that scientists "are being intimidated" if they disagree with the idea that burning fossil fuels has increased carbon dioxide levels, temperatures and sea levels.

“Schmitt contends that scientists “are being intimidated” if they disagree.....”
and if you think about it, so are we.
His plans would cost a 10th of the Stimulus package and would really create jobs and wealth for all mankind!
your argument would look a lot better without John Glenn and Sen. Nelson of Fla... oh, yeah, and the stalker woman in the diaper
Good story - good catch.

Thank you Harrison Schmitt! Thank you for giving the finger to junk science.
The Commie ‘RATS have a lot of money invested in their “global warming” hoax. They are counting on getting that and much more back. The Porkulus Maximus should do it for them.
Schmitt is an excellent scientist, but the enviro-nutjobs will dismiss him because he’s a Republican.
bttt
Yep. I'm kind of glad he only served a single term in the U.S. Senate, though. Look what long-term exposure to that place did to Glenn.

He makes the point I have been trying to make with these nuts for a long time.
“Not that the planet hasnt warmed. We know it has or wed all still be in the Ice Age,”
It is not possible to believe in man made global warming if you have even the slightest knowledge of history.
