Very good Ezekiel, let's have more of that and reading on down to Hosea 4:6 we find: "My People are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children".

And I sure don't want to take these things out of context but time and again, He has warned of such judgements to be ignored at our peril...

In Version La Reina Valera 1960 interestingly translates your tamid as: "[His] truth always guards me (as a contining process)". And then there are those that think all this is mere folly, somehow just "coincidence", "luck of the draw", yeah, right. Cause/effect, there are consequences for all that is done.

The word "sacrifice" added in by the translators - presumably because tamid (in Leviticus) describes the continual (daily) morning and evening sacrifices in the temple - is problematic. In Daniel, tamid is used as a noun, unlike in the rest of the Hebrew scriptures. Therefore it is something that is continual or perpetual or of a regular occurrence. The rejection of the truth (and the consequences thereof) is a perpetual theme, as you noted.

2 Thessalonians 2:8-13

Anybody with half a clue knows that the president, Congress, and the media are lying. This "stimulus" is snare for the greedy.

What kind of table? The kind flipped over in the temple.
