Authorities say Aasiya Hassan recently had filed for divorce from her husband.
“She had an order of protection that had him out of the home as of Friday the 6th [of February],” Benz said.
A police note stuck to the door five hours before Aasiya’s body was found asked her to contact cops.
Nobody at the Orchard Park Police Department today could explain why officers wanted to speak to her.
