Us meaning the GOP, of course. I appreciate his willingness to beat himself up in the name of regaining the publics trust, but, er, is the man of Steele being perhaps a bit too self-deprecating here? Even Becks taken aback by the brutal candor of it (but in a good way!)

All we can do is wait and see if Steele is going to walk the walk of Conservatism. We Conservatives need to promote Conservatives in their campaigns.

I appreciate Steele's comments but we need leadership and we need a coalition in Washington that is STRONG, AND OPENLY OPPOSED TO THE RADICALISM AND DECEIT OF THE LEFT. When that day comes, I will reconsider rejoining the Repub party.

Well, I like this better than the whiney “we lost our way.” This statement by Steele has TEETH in it. This is the kind of spice that is MISSING from the GOP.

He is 1000% correct, Lucy has moved the football too many times. When they actually propose legislation that fixes the financial messes they have made, they will be moving in the right direction.

It's a start. The first step for an addict is to acknowledge he has a problem.
That said, not sure if it means anything at this point since fair elections are now history.

That's what I think. When Hussein is finished, it will take more than political opposition to get it back, if it's even possible. The rats aren't funding ACORN for no reason, and why would the census, of all things in this economy, be a priority to a new administration if they weren't rapidly consolidating their lock on power?

Boot out the three Senaturds and well trust you all right!I'm not sure that the three crossovers didn't have the GOP blessing.
I've thought about this quite a bit. Maybe the GOP wanted it both ways. Let porkulus pass using three libtards so as not to appear to be "obstructionist" to economic recovery, but reserve the right to claim no ownership of the destructive aftermath. It's no coincidence that the three libtards face minimal voter backlash in their liberal states compared to Republican senators from a conservative state.
IMO, all the GOP cares about these days is political cover.

PROPOSING doesn’t mean anything. We will watch, and we will see, who the pubes put up in ‘10. I only started donating money to political campaigns in the early ‘00s, and that came to a screeching halt this last time. I decided I would vote for mccampaign but I wasn’t going to throw my money away on him.

All these statements dont mean sh@t.Not now they dont. Where the hell were these Republicans when it counted? Where the hell were they when given the 12 year opportunity to counter a half century of democrate/marxist corruption and blew it by being more democrat than democrats? What we need is a viable third party option.
