You may have something there. I do try to strike an acceptable balance between the “lite” (often the higher carb content) and the “full flavor” versions of foods and sauces, but if it’s a toss-up, I’ll buy the one with all the fat.

Plus there’s the implied favor on eggs, shrimp or even fatty meat as a diabetic diet “okay”. It so happens that those are all high in cholesterol.

I don't eat anything that grows in the ground. Plus I use a quart of heavy cream in my coffee a week. My Cholesterol is 147, A1c 5.7.
