Agreed. That is the frustrating part of being a conservative. Dole/Dubya/McCain were not great communicators. I realize there will never be another Reagan, but there has to be an articulate conservative out there somewhere. I believe Sanford is that candidate. Palin was amazing but Sanford is more...serious.

Sanford was the most vocal opponent of the Repub Governors.

He is on my 2012 Possibility List.

Sanford is not an orator, but he makes his points clearly and plainly, and and ansers questions with dispatch. The opposite of the wooly-mouthed Obama.

You forget that Dole/Dubya/McLame are RINOs, NOT CONSERVATIVES, and that McLame was the worst of a sorry lot. Their lack of communication skills covered up an utter lack of principle or any form of stance on anything. Even a WIDE stance.
