Yeah, the general public can name the American Idol finalists for the last three years in their sleep, but have no concept of our nation's history.

For many historical issues, I’d have to pull out books, research etc to get the historical facts. My memory isn’t the best when it comes to names and dates. BUT looking up the info, I love to when I can. We are fortunate to have that FREEDOM.

I know a lot of songs from certain country singers, who also happen to be history buffs.

Music isn’t bad, it’s the educational system and the dept of ed. One needs overhauling and one needs to be obliterated. :-)
