He signed the Campaign Finance Reform Bill into Law, which empowered Democrats and their press. That was giving in to an enemy of our republic.

All in all, he was an average president, but one hell of a nice guy.

On the plus: Military Spending, Defense Policy, Afghanistan/Iraq/Al Queda (particularly an incredible victory in Iraq), Foreign Policy - stopping treating terrorism like a criminal problem, Supreme Court and other Judiciary Appointments, Abortion/Right to Life Orders and Policies (FCOA), Tax Cuts.

On the negative: Medicare Drug Bill, Education Spending (Spending in General), Campaign Finance.

I think he was a great president with several weak decisions. I don’t remember a president without a few bad moves, so I think in toto objective historians will judge him quite well, just below Reagan among modern presidents.

With a $500 billion cash run on the banks... he probably saved my company from going under.
