“In general, all Indian parties are left wing. “

No way ! There was a certain Samajwadi Party catering specificly to Bussiness Interests a few decades ago .
Now Business Houses Prefer to work with the congress Party rather than non - congress ones .

“The Congress Party consists of the successors of their first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru who was a close friend of Stalin and implemented the Soviet model of economy as envisioned by Lenin in India.”

More like they were trying Gandhi's Philosophy . BTW I dislike Nehru he was a communist atheist .

Samajwadi Party

I assume you mean the Swatantra Party (Freedom Party)? The operational word in your sentence is "WAS."

More like they were trying Gandhi's Philosophy .

Economics is one field I can guarantee I know quite a bit about. Indian economy had nothing to do with Gandi's suggestions, but had everything to do with Nehru's fascination for the Soviet Union. While Gandi wanted self-sufficiency at the level of villages, Nehru implemented Five Year Plans and a centrally planned economy planned at a Planning Commission. Five Year plans as well as the Planning Commission were Soviet ideas. Nehru was the one who wanted to nationalize Indian industries. His daughter followed up by nationalizing mines and banks as well.

Nehru has written quite a bit about Gandi's economic ideas in his autobiography and attacks Gandi for favoring capitalism over socialism and seeing socialism as violent.

I don't mean anything at a personal level. In general, I found that there is a lot of corruption in India and the common Indians are the victims of such corruption. I would trust an ordinary Indian over an Indian politician. Similarly, I would trust ordinary Christians in India over the clergy.

Spreading the message of Jesus is one thing, but the exaggerations and claims of churches being burnt are wholly another. Put yourself in my shoes. I give money and travel to India and find out that I've been taken for a ride and that I am not alone in this. There is an industry out there that generates tales of persecution and martyrdom in order to strike a chord with us and it is extremely difficult to describe the rage I felt when I realized that the people feeding me stories were evasive about their claims.

Again, please don't take it personally, if you read my posts elsewhere, you will see that I have been sympathetic to Indians in general except the Moslem ones. It is just that many Indians seem to think that all Westerners are wealthy and they can squeeze us of our money and we won't mind it.
