The point: this is not a stimulus bill. The JCPenney CEO today said retail needed a real stimulus package, not this one, as retail is losing 100K jobs per month. He said there is nothing in the bill to help his company or his sector. The bill is an appropriation bill, a social policy bill that could not pass if brought up in pieces or at a time where no emergency existed. As it is we are getting our medical and health lives forever changed in the name of an economic crisis.

I will never lose faith in capitalism, but it’s easy to lose faith in the people that are supposed to be the demonstrators of it’s superiority!
