He’ll get away with it and probably keep his job. The police are in a differnt class than the rest of us.

Not defending these two (I wasn’t there) but the perp is clearly resisting. And regarding throwing him to the ground ... looked to me like he fell in his struggle to resist. It’ll be interesting to see what happens with this case.

It IS possible that the guy needed a beating.

A LOT of people in Fresno need beatings.

"moved to desk duty after a video showed one of them repeatedly punching a suspect in the head"

Tell me why they weren't moved to "prison cell" duty and arrested and charged with felony assault???

Oh yeah, some animals are more equal than others.

Saw a video on Fox today where a sobbing man in handcuffs was taserd for not getting up when told to. I don’t care what anybody says, we are headed for a socialist state where jackbooted thugs will ride over us by the sting of the whip.

The man was NOT restrained and was resisting. That’s on the video. All he had to do was comply with instructions and let himself be handcuffed and there would have been no need for force by the officers....or....they could have let him walk away and later everyone would have been mad cuz the cops didn’t arrest a wanted criminal who later killed a nursery full of babies or whatever.

The Chief should have made a forceful statement in full support of his officers.

"A LOT of people in Fresno need beatings."

I've been thinking about this on and off today. Can't help laughing because it's TRUE!

So unless the cops happen to get caught on tape punching Mother Theresa in the face, it’s OK??? I watched the tape, there was no reason to punch the guy in the face. Maybe these guys need to take some training from the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association calf ropers, I’ve seen some of their cowboys hog tie a much less cooperative 200-300 pound calf in 7 seconds. These guys came off looking like a couple of wankers. The guy doing the punching can be seen favoring his punching hand towards the end of the video, no doubt he’ll file a workman’s comp claim and get paid leave.

Fresno officer taped beating man broke finger

"The video shows the officer shaking out his hand after hitting the man at least five times in the face as he lay face down restrained by another officer. The officers names haven't been released.

The officer with the broken finger is out on medical leave. The second officer is on administrative duty."
