To tell deliberate lies while genuinely believing in them, to forget any fact that has become inconvenient, and then when it becomes necessary again, to draw it back from oblivion for just so long as it is needed....
All you have to say, “I listen to Rush on a regular basis and I have never heard him say anything racist. You don’t listen to him, so why I take your word for what he says over the evidence I have heard with my own ears.”
I have listened to Rush since ‘93 or earlier and I never heard him say these things or anything remotely like them. They are all made up.
Thank you. I thought so.
Agreed. IBTZ.

“Of course you do realise that liberals make things up.”
Oh, yea. In the last 3 or 4 months we have seen the biggest lies that the liberals have ever laid on the ignorant masses.
Right.
How would anyone know that a caller was / is an African American Female? Wouldn’t that be the sign of using stereotypes?
Start here:

It’s my full post and breaks down the James Earl Ray lie.
I will have more during the week.
Also, here is the other Freeper post:

It’s got contact info for the propagandists.
I did a second post on the slavery quote.
The slavery quote and the James Earl Ray quote are despicable lies.

Here is a post about those quotes with a guide showing the creation of the false quotes.
The reason chasing down Quote Truthers is important, is because they use these lies to push an agenda. Its usually done in discussion forums to shut someone up they dont like, but it spreads into blogs, articles, books, and even on television.

When you debate whether someone is a racist, you’re accepting their premise.
Don’t even accept the premise.
Just state - well, I see that you’re a typical leftist that can’t debate the substance of issues, so you attempt to silence or discredit the person you’re incapable of arguing with with slanderous accusations of racism.
Now, what issue would you like to logically debate?
Great work debunking these quotes.
Yeah one guy came up with one of them, but it was way out of context. I explained it in the post, but he didn’t have anything more to say about it.
Liberal Articles of Faith.
Oh, yeah, it was the Harvard affirmative action quote. Left that part out, sorry.
Bumping this half year old thread due to the topical nature.
I recall seeing a collection of these fabricated quotes from a poster on FARK.com and when that poster was challenged to prove they were real, their reply was to ‘prove they weren’t’
Gotta love proving a negative.
