I have no idea what he was saying, I hadn’t heard of Denenberg until about 6 months ago. Do you know if he was cheering on deficit spending?

it was kind of a rhetorical question, but I was curious if anyone knew if Herb has had a recent conversion to fiscal conservatism (like the remainders of the Republican party are trying to now that they don't have control).
Herb used to be the consumer affairs reporter for one of the t.v. stations in Philly years ago, he would have hidden cameras film shady businesses, say a mechanic who said he changed your oil but all he changed were the stickers - then Herb would go in and confront them with the evidence and watch them squirm.
I'm surprised he's positioning himself as a conservative now, he always struck me as more of a Nader type back then. On a side note the original Bulletin was the biggest paper in Philly before it went bust around '82, according to Wikipedia someone bought the name in late 2004 and started it in it's current form, I'll have to go check it out.
