Fellow Freepers, you just missed a great show. Democrat Maxine Waters just had a psychotic break during the House grilling of top bank CEOs regarding what happened to the $ 350B they got but somehow never made it to customers.
Maxine -- never the calmest of souls -- got on an incomprehensible tear and, her voice rising and becoming a low-level screech, began accusing the CEOs assembled of piracy, lying, and gross abuse of bank customers. She lit into a litany of every Leftist Lunatic grudge against capitalism in general and banks in particular. Wild-eyed and shaking, she stopped actually asking these poor guys questions and simply yelled accusations at them, telling them to "raise your hands" if they pled guilty. No one could get a word in edgewise. Finally, as Maxine reached the level of Howard Dean screaming at his audience, the chair interrupted and tried to get her to stop self-destructing on TV. Maxine ignored him and kept her screechfest going. Finally, the chair simply stopped her, telling her that she needed to submit her "questions" to the CEOs after the hearing ended. Moment of stunned silence. Then the grilling continued by another, saner Dem.
I hope this makes Youtube. Waters is a raving hatemonger and we need to make sure everyone sees her in action.
The bank bailouts are the lefties method of trickle down economics.
The problem is people have to go farther in debt to get any of the funds.

No, I’m just not siding with everyone who’s taking the side of these bastards who’ve ripped off their investors and depositors and then walked away from the firms they’ve wrecked with obscene bonuses and ‘golden parachutes’.
This obnoxious, angry, mean spirited biaggi is, by far, the nastiest person in the Congress. Never mind the fact that her ideological soulmates control the Congress and occupy the White House. Never mind the fact that the most socialistic legislation since the 1930s is now on the verge of passage and becoming law.
This sad, pathetic, angry, troubled woman will NEVER be satisfied with ANYTHING. I suspect her constituents share her eternal resentments and hatreds. I thought the messiah was supposed to usher in the new era of good feelings and kumbaya. I guess not.
No, I'm not. But I'm wanting to scream myself so it's satisfying to see at least someone getting upset and losing their cool over a mess that has cost this nation more than if we paid for World War Two four thousand times.

How did she treat the head of Solomon Barney Frank? Any specific threats made against him?

Remeber she is one of Barney Frank’s housing fraud enablers.
She is the one who played the race card in order to have no job, no income, no deposit loans foised upon the banks CAUSING this.
She expected to be able to conceal the fraud because SHE expected the banks to be stupid enough to hold the toxic promisory notes. The banks outsmarted Waters by selling the notes at a discount and dropping the crisis back on congress.
Waters represents the “beautiful”, “prosperous” area of Los Angeles known as “South-Central” and Watts. I would guess that a large percentage of her constituents are on some type of public assistance.
