Why did you say “for Darwinists)

Why not “for educated folks” ?

Why do you have two kidneys when you can live on one?

Why is it that for some people, two isn't enough? Why is it that the Creator who can create species out of nothing at any time, not make us a new kidney when we need one?

[[Could it be because they don’t want to draw attention to the fact that the HMS Beagle is sinking, and sinking fast?]]

It’s not sinking! How dare you? Heretic! All that need be done is reconstruction- complete reconstruction- God just simply couldn’t have done it!

The creation model predicts that more backup systems like these will be discovered.

The creation model? What's that? Where is it? Link?

Read up on “super atoms” and you’ll find Lord Kelvin was pretty much up to date ~ with today.

As the author points out, creation science predicts said “enigma.”

Pointer, please, to the time creation scientists predicted the existence of bacteria that bacteria that have a sulfur molecule instead of a phosphorus molecule in their cell membranes.

Or is this another one of those creation science "predictions" that consist of waiting until working scientists discover something new and then pointing at it and saying "God designed it that way, and we knew it all along"?

He could- but we decided in the garden we didn’t trust God, and God told us IN ADVANCE the consequences of our actions IF we decided to ignore Him and eat the fruit- but we, in our ‘infinate wisdom’ decided we knwe better than God what was best for us- All hail the penatly of sin!

Why do we need all those messy organs at all? And what’s with the appendix and wisdom teeth?

Nah- you point ot the purely natural creation of hte metainformaiton that ALLOWS this and controls this, and directs this so that hte whole system doesn’t malfunction when this was itnroduced- We’ll wait if you need time pointing to the natural evolution of metainformation- take you time- we’re in no hurry

Why do you have two kidneys when you can live on one? Or two lungs?

Why don't I have two hearts, if the designer is providing us with backup systems?

"bilateral symmetry" ~ ?

That's why you have two kidneys and not just one ~ you need two sides or your guts just spill out on the ground. So,you get two sides ~ and an algorithm somewhere in your genome makes sure code is optimized, and that gets you two kidneys.

Optimization and bilateral symmetry would be the "design elements", not the kidney ~ and everybody's got one ~ some critters got a gazillion of 'em.

Dunno, but True Believers seem to think they have a total lock on it, don’t they?

What people of faith fear is a science that has as it's core a philosophy that says humans are the result of chance, error, and fortuitous circumstance, a science that sees crude utilitarianism and pragmatism as the guiding forces in life, in man.

You must have me confused with someone else. That’s not my style. I like debating the good old fashioned way. BTW, did you see what the evidence is forcing the Evos to give Darwin for his birthday?

http://creationsafaris.com/crev200901.htm#20090122a

Needless to say, the creationists have been predicting this all along.

Nah- you point ot the purely natural creation of hte metainformaiton that ALLOWS this and controls this

Nah- the whole metainfo sideshow is based on false analogies, plus it's been shown that feedback loops can add information to a system. So I'm not going to waste my time on that particular creationist hobbyhorse.

The claim was made that creation science predicted the existence of these backup systems. I asked for a reference. Do you have anything to say on that subject?

"Designer genes", to my knowledge, are merely genes taken from one critter and stuffed into the genome of another critter.

I don't quite think we are to the point where we can build a double-helix DNA strand from the ground up ~ nor do we need to.

There are an almost infinite number of "different" genes in the oceans just floating around in dormant viruses.

And then, lo and behold, we can blast a gene with high energy radiation bursts and MAKE STUFF MOVE AROUND ~ kind of resort the existing genes, and then see what they do.

We have such a vast amount of work to do just to find out what the genes on hand can do the science of "manufacturing genes" will probably lag for centuries, if not thousands of years.

In fact, any rational person suspects that the design for constructing and flying an intergalactic war cruiser is probably in those genes somewhere. Definitely something worthwhile looking for!

Luckily science in the USA is carried out primarily by people of faith and we do not have a philosophy of science that has any resemblance to what you have suggested it is.

Moreover, to deny that God has control over processes that appear “random” to us, like dice rolls, is to deny the Bible that clearly says God controls even the outcomes of what appears to us to be random.

Prov 16:33 The dice are cast into the lap, but every result is from the Lord.
