Please provide proof he was born in HI.

There's the two birth announcements in the local papers, which are on record that they based their announcements on birth reports from the Hawaii Health Department. There's the birth certificate he posted online (which no one has proven is phony, contrary to the claims of some). There's the fact that both his parents were residents of Hawaii at the time.

There's the complete lack of any evidence that his mother was anywhere else other than Hawaii at the time of his birth. There's a family friend, who was also his English teacher, who remembers hearing about his birth in Hawaii.

Then there are all his Kenyan relatives who say he visited Kenya for the first time in the late 1970s.

There's his Kenyan step grandmother who explicitly says he was born in Hawaii, in the very same tape Berg is trying to use to prove a Kenyan birth (I posted it above)! She's also on record as having learned about Obama Jr.'s birth in Hawaii via a letter his father sent to her.

Then there's the sheer impluasibility that a pregnant American college girl would travel to Kenya in 1961. She couldn't afford it. Her husband's father was against their marriage. Plus her husband had every reason to keep her away from Kenya because he was hiding from her the fact that he was a bigamist, and his first wife was living in Kenya at the time. Finally, why in the world would anyone choose to travel to a third world country to give birth? It just strains credulity.

Not to mention the fact that there is zero evidence that they went to Kenya in 1961.

Bottom line: you have to be willfully blind to believe Obama was born in Kenya. And if he wasn't born in Kenya, then the only logical place of birth would be Hawaii.

Oh, wait. I have run across a Freeper who thinks he's "proven" Obama was born in Canada. His proof? Mama Obama was in Seattle shortly after Bambi's birth. The fact that Seattle isn't in Canada seems lost on that idiot.

What proof have you that he was born anywhere other than Hawaii?

“Then there’s the sheer impluasibility that a pregnant American college girl would travel to Kenya in 1961”.

I’ll give you implausibility. Here we have an event, the election of the first black president of United States, allegedly born in Hawaii, a state of the Union, and not one single living human being has come forward and claimed they were present at this most historic birth. 1961 is not that distant in time so that a nurse, Dr., or midwife (even if they were in their mid-thirties they would likely be alive or had relatives whom they had spoken to) in a hospital where Hussein was born would not have remembered a mixed race baby born to an extremely young mother who became POTUS. They would certainly come forward to claim their place in history, and wouldn’t somebody on Hussein’s staff seek them out for a photo opportunity. Unless of course it never happened on United States soil.

The only people claiming to be present at Hussein’s birth live in Kenya, and claim he was born there. One of them is his paternal grandmother
