I live in Tennessee and just yesterday, the TN GOP booted crook Speaker Williams out of the party. The GOP won control of both state houses for the first time since the civil war and Williams aligned with 49 Democrats to vote himself Speaker, against the full TN GOP.
We gave him the boot immediately and that is exactly what should happen to Collins, Specter and Snowe, all of whom will vote with Democrats for the next two years anyway.
I'm over near Chattanooga and have been so wrapped up in this spending "stimulus" boondoggle I hadn't heard that. Excellent news! I am really, really hoping the 'Pubbies don't blow their opportunity to shine as they hold the majority in the Legislature.

The House GOP did the right thing.
And GOP senator who votes for this bill needs to be kicked out of the GOP.
They are useless anyway.
