I heard him today on Hannity and it was very sad. He really does seem to be clueless and not doing this on purpose.
It really is pretty simple. He just believes that government must "do something". He's simply a big government Rino. He's incapable of considering for a moment that the right thing to do might be for the congress to REDUCE spending and REDUCE taxes, or at the very least if they're not going to do that, to do NOTHING.
