What I really enjoyed today was how offended these politicians get when offered a question or opinion by their voters.
They don’t like the heat a bit.

I wish I could have made it over to the Snowe and Collins’ offices, but as you can see, the two-year-old was getting tired...

LOL!
I agree! And it is always a bit of a boost to repeat Our Lord’s words back to Him. Let’s Him know that we are His and He is in control.

The GOP Chairman, STAND UP AND SPEAK UP!!!

Maybe he’s worried? I sent an email to him last week, and never got a response until today; coincidence? (I’ve also tried a million times to get through via phone without any success).

It was clear his brain has failed him completely and he just talks in circles. I think it failed in 1964.
How else can you explain how stupid he sounded.
As far as I can remember, he's always sounded like that... oh might have a touch of dementia now, but in his case, it would be hard to tell the difference.

"didn't realize how stupid Spector really is on his comments about the economy and how FDR's policies brought the USA out of recession."I heard it too. Hard to believe someone that educated and supposedly BRIGHT could make such ludicrous remarks so ignorant of historical fact. (BTW, Obama made the same remark just a minute ago. Obama went even further to say, he thought these disputes had been resolved. Don't Liberals ALWAYS think disputes between Liberals and conservatives have been resolved in favor of their opinion?) Therefore, I don't. Specter is a Liberal and a socialist who walks the walk and talks the talk. To him, Obama and socialists like them, this is a prime opportunity to expand government and finish the revolution begun in the sixties.

We went through the same thing AGAIN with Spector here in Philly, immediately following Hannity, on local talk radio. Then, Santorum was interviewed. He had good criticism of the porkulus bill, but when asked if he would support Specter over Toomey again, Rick responded affirmatively saying Specter was his good friend. It's like the twilight zone with these politicians.

Well, you are right. After that interview with Hannity, there can't be any doubt that he is not a very bright guy. The Republican party would be better off if he just went ahead and switched parties. What a joke he is.

It would have been great to have had you all along, during my visit to Specter's office at the height of Justice Thomas' confirmation hearings, though he turned out to be on our side for that one (reelection time and all you know.): )
Good going!

Are you listening to Obama right now? Same thing. He's read different history and economic textbooks than we have that's for sure. He accused conservatives of rewriting history. Can't wait for talk radio tomorrow.
Oh, Obama just said people have to break out of their ideological, fiscal rigidity. Somehow, I don't think he means Liberals.
Unlike President Bush, and to his discredit, Obama is going to use the presidency as a bully pulpit the way President Reagan did.
