You can pretend all you want that they are detecting HIV. The fact is, all they are detecting is transcriptional activity that is setting off LacZ. If they are detecting HIV, then they should be able to isolate it and take electron micrographs. But they can’t. Because HIV is nowhere to be found. The fact that they have to rely on all these indirect methods (that could be reacting to God knows what) should tell you something about the “strength” of the HIV-AIDS hypothesis.

Did you not read where they isolated HIV and identified what strain it was from Chinese individuals? Here are electron micrographs of HIV. Here is where they describe how they can identify viral particals; which is a goal post far removed from your 'they find anti HIV antibodies and zero zip nada of anything else' garbage.
