Call me suspicious on the news we’re hearing about the economy. I’m not saying we don’t have problems, nor that it won’t become catastrophic if the government doesn’t quit spending money, but I don’t know if we’re in as bad a shape some in government would have us believe.

I agree...restaurants and malls were packed this weekend...grocery stores just as busy as they have ever been. Maybe they are 'talking down the economy' just to get 'porkulus' rammed down our throats? Perhaps some folks can hit the talk shows today to advance this theory?

That's exactly what they're doing. When the economy shows the least bit of revival it will all be becuase of the wonderful stimulus package. Down the road we'll end up with high inflation and a devalued dollar. The democRATS are idiots. I can't wait until we take back the house and senate and get rid of this one term fraud of a president.
