83% approval rating seems a little inflated to me, considering he didn’t get that many votes. 64 sounds more like the original number should be. Should be solidly below 50% by the end of the year and should continue dropping the rest of his tenure.

"Do you think America can finally feel good about having a black president?"

I am giving him only 6 months before he falls from grace. And I am waiting for the disappointed liberal feeding frenzy to happen, of which Dowd's column is, most probably, a harbinger.

The gist of the matter is: the Dumbs had a perfect chance to elect Hillary and cement Dumbo policies for decades to come. Instead, they went overboard and got Zero elected, biting off way more than the public can chew, let alone digest. In many ways, I am glad McCain, an unpredictable "conservative", but a decent man, did not inherit this mess.
