See my post 29 for age of universe. While it doesn`t establish that the universe is 13.5 billion years old, it does prove that it is at least several billion years old - and that is only because our Hubble telescope cannot pick up light farther away than several billion light years.
A better telescope in the future will undoubtedly peer even farther into space - perhaps 10 billion years.
As for the age of earth and life, fossils have been found in rock dating back 3 billion years. This is undisputed. Someone could make a huge name for themselves if they could prove that the thousands of fossils found were either fakes or that the dating methodology is flawed.
