Dang...my grandfather voted for Hillary Clinton AND sent her campaign money.
Of course, he’s been DEAD since 1951, but that didn’t stop somebody from forging his name on a ballot register (my aunt saw his name and forged signature just above her own when she herself went to vote).
To be fair to the forger...Grandpa IS a resident of Queens, NY, only...he “resides” in Calvary Cemetery.
Unfortunately, since it is illegal in NY to ask for ID when voting, it is impossible to know who, exactly, was impersonating my grandfather. It’s hard to file a complaint against an unknown person.

Johnson loved telling about his early days getting out the vote down here in Texas back in the day when the Democrats were firmly in the saddle.
Late one night LBJ and cohorts are in a graveyard jotting down the names of voters off the tombstones. One of his men says that he can't read the name off one gravestone. "Make one up," Lyndon commands, "He's got as much a right to vote as anyone else!"
