“* Not everyone who owns a gun is capable of killing a man.”

Agreed.

“* Not everyone capable of killing is capable of killing a federal for some kind of intangible human rights and liberty.”

Agreed, though I disagree with you that liberty is an intangible.

“* Even fewer of those people are willing to sacrifice their own lives as well as the lives of their family to prove that point.”

Agreed.

On the other hand, there are people for whom liberty is worth doing anything and everything to achieve and maintain. People throughout history have done it. The United States was founded by men and women who did just that, and those who did the heavy lifting were in the distinct minority. They pledged their lives, their fortunes, their sacred honor to secure liberty for themselves and their posterity. I think you shortchange your countrymen. And you’re from Texas!

Just because we don’t post or bluster, doesn’t mean we ain’t here.

Reread the history of how this nation came to be. We are still the same humans yearning for freedom. Just the names/ruling groups have changed names. And if that tipping point ever comes, and I hope and pray it doesn’t, well, you know......
