To no avail, I twice tried to get a warm rise out of customer BARACK OBAMA as he and his grandparents came through our Port of Los Angeles MATSON LINES dock picking up a car they shipped from Hawaii in the mid-1990’s.
At MATSON LINES http://www.Matson.com I always gave a warm “ALOHA” Spirit welcome to auto shippers in a way that engendered joy and happiness in them. But it didn’t work with this one, though I continued to try. He ended up having to begrudgingly “ALOHA” me back unsmilingly in the end, for I wouldn’t let up.
Because of an inner feeling immediately after they left, I predicted at the time that this strange sounding name might one day run for and then win the Presidency of the United States.
