Black President, White Fears
Pajamas Media ^ | February 8 | Ruben Navarrete Jr.

Posted on 02/08/2009 6:31:47 AM PST by AJKauf

I remember this delightful elderly white woman who, after Barack Obama won the Democratic nomination, looked into the television camera and told America that she would never vote for him because “he’d only take care of the blacks.” Now that Obama has been elected, I’m picking up on self-pity, worry, paranoia, resentment, and victimhood among some white Americans, especially thin-skinned white males.

These folks need to chill out...

“The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.”

The government has become the Givernment.

"Ruben Navarrete Jr." Google the name and see what this one writes about, Latino this, race that. He is a race pimp.

Although he has much to say he has little worth listening to.

Question for the group: does anyone else here think that this essay can't be serious?   Look at the writers line here:

[snip]... white males are upset over:

  • The comments by former Labor Secretary Robert Reich who, in testifying before Congress on President Obama’s plan to create jobs, expressed his hope that “these jobs not simply go to high-skilled professionals or to white male construction workers.”

  • The admission by former Republican National Committee Chairman Rich Bond that the GOP has to reach out to minorities because “not everybody comes from the same constituency as a majority-white homogeneous district in the South where all people care about is keeping their guns and taxes.”

  • The announcement by CNN’s Larry King that his eight-year-old son Cannon — after watching Obama’s inauguration — “now says that he would like to be black.” To which King noted, “There’s a lot of advantages to being black. Black is in.”

  • The goading by Tom Brokaw, who, during an appearance on MSNBC’s Morning Joe on Inauguration Day, said, “Having been in the South in the 60s and Los Angeles and Watts and northern urban areas, umm, uh, when we were evolving as a country, I’m thinking of all the bigots and the rednecks and all the people that I met along the way, and I’m saying to them, ‘Take this.’”  Brokaw’s comment might have set off the reader who wrote, “There is no doubt in my mind that blacks as well as Mexican-Americans are laughing it up that a black (half-black) president has been elected. Revenge is sweet. It is payback time.”

[snip] Let’s keep that in mind, keep our wits about us, and maintain our civility.

If this ain't satire then it'll sure do until real satire comes along...

His drunken, irresponsible daddy wasn’t much to brag about either. Son of a slattern and a booze-drenched hell driver. Now there’s a background to be proud of.

I seem to remember from my childhood something like:

What is Black & White and Read all over? The answer was the newspaper.

Now it should read:

What is Black & White and Red all over? The answer is Barrack Obama, and the newspapers.

"These folks need to chill out... "

Oh, you mean like the blacks did at the mere mention that their candidate might not get nominated...you know, the threat of nationwide race riots?

Or the intimidation foisted upon banks and institutions - not to mention voters by one obama-founded group called ACORN?

Or do you mean the "screw you, I won" comment/attitude exhibitied by obama in the spirit of bi-partisanship?

Or the BIG LIE posing as a "stimulus bill" that is just a big supporter payback and future election insurance bill?

And WE should chill out? GFY

To go one step further, the only reason many Americans voted for McCain was because of Palin, a woman, which is another sign of our willingness to knock down barriers.

To vote for someone because of their plumbing is just as stupid as voting for someone because of their race. I have no tolerance for dividing and conquering the voting public along class and social lines. This is what Rats do. We should only elect people based upon what they stand for.

Rueben,
You’re forgetting a few other reasons not to support BHO, like...Rev. Jerimiah Wright, Bill Ayers, Distribution of Wealth comment, Pro choice, Anti-Gun and Anti-2nd amendment, no leadership experience, and contempt for our military....just to name a few. These are core issues that have nothing to do with race, yet the media chose to look the other way. You and your kind are the ones that need to “chill out”

“he’d only take care of the blacks.”

Isnt that the rationale blacks use for demanding black legislators, school administrators, cops, etc? That only fellow blacks can represent/teach them?

100% true, you should see the obama delusion syndrome among the deziens of the government agency buildings.

It is all about tribalism for them.

They don’t understand checks and balances, they don’t care. Obama is “leader” period. They are going by the primitive notion of the leader speaks and all must obey or else.

(s)next week people in cities can’t get a permit unless they have a letter of social approval from their acorn representative. Obama loves you (/s)

So true. Here are a few more. I also sent to my Congress people. Ugh, Reed, Whitehouse

“All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.”

“The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.” NO STIMULUS PLEASE!

“Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom.” Not to much of that in Washington from what I can see. Robbing us blind and then having the nerve to ask for our vote.

“I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just.”

“I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.” NO STIMULUS PLEASE!

“To inform the minds of the people and to follow their will is the chief duty of those placed at their head.”

“The principle of spending money to be paid by future generations, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale.” NO STIMULUS PLEASE!

“I place economy among the first and most important virtues, and public debt as the greatest of dangers. To preserve our independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt.” NO STIMULUS PLEASE!

He targets "thinskinned white males" but the only quote he has is from an old white female.

I smell an affirmative action hire at work here.

I admit, while I was deeply pessimistic at first, I got my hopes up this past week.

The Republicans showed some backbone at first, but there is so much more they could do.

I think I'm finally able to articulate what's really wrong with the R's tactics--they haven't got any, they're not CREATIVE in their opposition.

Especially in this new media landscape, there are endless things they could do to get the message out there. I think maybe they're too old, if not in age in their thinking, to compete.

It's never too late to start, but they have to stop this Orrin Hatch being nice to Ted Kennedy crap, and start street fighting.

You are correct, and his father was a Commie also.

Neither Barack Hussein Obama Sr. or Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. saw a tax they did not like.

From: “East Africa Journal” (July 1965) by Barrack H. Obama

“Certainly there is no limit to taxation if the benefit derrived from public services by the society measures up to the cost in taxation which they have to pay.”

“Theoretically there is nothing to stop the government from taxing 100 percent of income so long as the people get benefits from the government commensurate with their income which is taxed”

From personal experience I say that a half-baked progressive/liberal/socialist is more dangerous than a common, in the ditch drunk.

Can we say it? There is reason to fear Obama because he is a Communist. There is reason to fear Obama because he is a Muslim. There is reason to fear Obama because he is not an American and lies about it. But there is also reason to fear Obama because he is a black racist.

There are white racists, Latino racists, Chinese racists, and every other kind of racists, including black racists. And his record clearly indicates that Obama is a racist. There is NO DOUBT that among his other failings he will continually play the race card and use what is politely called reverse bias—but which is, in fact, simply another form of bias.
