A foster mother has been struck off by a council after a teenage Muslim girl in her care became a Christian.
The carer, who has ten years experience and has looked after more than 80 children, said she was devastated by the decision.
This is my life, she revealed. It is not just a job for me. It is a vocation. I love what I do. It is also my entire income. I am a single carer, so that is all I have to live on.The foster mother said she had recently bought a larger car and had been renting a farmhouse, with a pony in a field, so that she could provide more disadvantaged children with a new life.
That was always my dream and then suddenly, bang, it was gone. I am now in a one-bedroom flat, she added.
The girl is understood to be back with members of her family, who have not been told of her conversion. A second girl the woman was fostering has been moved to another carer.

Government officials every time.
Dear UK. Please show us the way. Have the darned civil war now.
Bump this for general decency.
I guess England has no freedom of religion....Except for Islam.
+1
It was announced today that she's been reinstated.
Apparently the bad press of the original decision forced the anti-Christian Nazis to back down.
sigh....
And what is the problem here?
Let’s make sure we provide enough information in the article so her family can figure out who she is, right?
Whenever I am taking care of a patient, I pray for their healing and for the health care team and wisdom on how to take care of my patient, but I do it on the down low (to myself).
The dhimmis in Londonistan can’t seem to capitulate quickly enough either to their Moslem Masters or to the PC Police. Perhaps they should strike the Union Jack and simply adopt the white flag. Bearing a green crescent, of course.
The problem is rather obvious I would have thought. The foster parent has been disbarred because a child in her care, of her own free will and conviction chose to change her religion. Why should the carer be punished for that?
If as the carer points out a Christian girl in the care of atheists had abandoned her religion would the social workers have barred the atheist carers in the future? Even to pose the question shows the absurdity of such an idea.
A friend of mine, a former aide to Congressman Roger Wicker..now Senator, has been in England for over a year as a missionary...He says there are fewer Christians in England than one would expect. He says his efforts are met with trouble from the SIGNIFICANT Muslim population and atheists.
The article doesn't explain why she was taken away from her family in the first place. Was it because they didn't want her? Because they were abusing her? If this was so, to the point where she was put into foster care, why would they risk sending her back?
If her family finds out that she was baptized, there is significant risk that they will cut off her head. Is that what the Council wants to happen?

Well, at least the battle lines are getting clearer. Religion = Bad (unless it's Islam). Can't get much clearer than that. People need to be thinking ahead a few steps, as in "when I will I decide I need to do something other than just sit here and read about it". Any and all ideas welcome.
Or godless secularism, which is really a reaction against the Bible and the authority of God, and will actually side with any belief system rather than favor the Lord Jesus.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
(Luke 23:12) “And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together: for before they were at enmity between themselves.”
(Psa 2:1-5) “Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? {2} The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, {3} Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. {4} He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. {5} Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.”
“The girl had told her auxiliary social worker of her plans to convert before she was baptised in January last year, and the social worker had appeared to give her consent.
At that point the brakes were off, the carer said. I couldnt have stopped her if I had wanted to. She saw the baptism as a washing away of the horrible things she had been through and a symbol of a new start.
Three months later, however, senior officials complained that they had not been fully informed of the girls intentions to become a Christian.
The foster carer said, however, that the girl had thought about her decision very carefully and was aware that members of her family might react strongly, so she was adamant that they should not be told.”
Big Brother’s” sin and loss, but her virtue and gain. If they outlawed superficial conversions, such as typical here, it might have some merit.
But doesn't that just shock you that such Christian kindness and charity can be construed as something that merits suspension?
I'll never understand this upside-down world.
: What will it be America?
Looks more and more like government officials are merely Satan’s puppets.
I’m sure that if the girl had been a Christian who converted to Islam, the lady would have been given a medal.
