Tax cheats, pork-barrel politics, ancillary child abuse, incompetence, chaos, treachery and infantilism. America – what have you done?!

What we have done is put a person in the office of president who hates America. His entire past is replete with America hating dirtbags. If one has hate and contempt for something and is passionate about that, their intent is then to destroy it. In just three short weeks, it is clear that the agenda put forth by the current president is to destroy America as we have known it.

The sooner Americans wake up and decide not to participate the better chance we will have of salvaging what we can without losing it forever. My ultimate fear is America may be beyond it ability as a whole to have the courage to do what is right. I fear for my children and my children's children....

I am wondering if all this presidency stuff is turning out to be a whole lot more work and worry than Obama the wonderhorse ever imagined. I wonder if he had any idea just how long his days are going to be and how he is going to be rushed constantly from one meeting/event to another. Maybe not nearly enought time to squeeze in all those workouts, to say nothing of attending church!

Michelle was quoted during that visit to the school as saying to the kids that the First Lady 'pay' wasn't so good. How gracious, eh. Being First Lady for nothing is probably going to require a LOT more from the unlovely Michelle than making $1000 per day for doing nothing but showing up at a fancy office and placing a couple of phone calls. The visit to the school was because they 'needed to get out the White House'? They just got there, folks.

I remember how the Nixon girls complained about having to live in the White House. This is not a slam against Nixon, at all. I am fairly sympathetically disposed toward him because of his staunch of Whittaker Chambers, in his early years, when all of the Beltway was lining up behind their own State Department denizen, Alger Hiss. That goes a long way with me. I do remember the girls complaining about White House life, however.

I think you either appreciate what a great honor it is to be able to live in the White House, or you feel put upon. Which is it possibly already shaping up to be for the 'we're entitled' Obamas?
