It is a very powerful tactic to defeat the democrats and in particular when the people realize the disaster that this welfare and pork bill has caused two years from now.
Republicans also need to keep reminding voters that it was the same DEMOCRAT Congress that sent that 700 billion Wallstreet bailout to President Bush’s desk. If they wouldn’t have passed it, he couldn’t have signed it. All these bailouts have come from a RAT Congress and Republicans need to make that point often!
President Bush pretty much destroyed the Republican party when he pushed that massive Wall Street bailout bill through, IMHO.
