Exactly! I'm no Constitutional lawyer (or any kind of lawyer for that matter), so forgive me if my suppositions are incorrect, but there does not seem to be any remedy right now.
Can Obama be recalled? Could we hold new elections? I just can't think of any reason for the democrats to want him removed.
There is no law permitting recall of the President.
Elections are prescribed by law and cannot be held in any other time and manner, just because you don’t like what the President is doing.
As unpopular as Bush became, and as hated by quite a few people, you do understand that if it were possible to recall him, or hold a new election to defeat him, his enemies would have done it.
People need to buy a clue of just how serious it is to elect a President. Once he’s there, that’s it until the next prescribed election, barring very unusual circumstances that would lead to his impeachment and removal from office by the House and Senate.
In this case the people have also voted for a lopsided Democrat House and Senate to go along with Obama.
