A teachers’ union has no business supporting or opposing Prop 8 in the first place. The union should stick to supporting teachers who’ve been wrongfully terminated and shut up about unrelated politics.

Teachers, in California public school systems gave about $2 to support the marriage ban for every $1 they gave to oppose it... according to the NPR analysis.

I find it amazing that NPR reported this let along looked into it. Hades froze over!

No doubt 0 will have as many employed souls unionized as possible (how about a union for the “unemployed and homeless” too w/ the feds kicking in the union dues, kitty just escaped the bag, sorry) by the next election. It’s just about money and mainly power, 0 really gives a sh*t about anything else, he needs to keep any stimulus between he and Aunt Ethel.
