Awful right? Absolutely. Then why, why, why did Obama shoot down a bill in 2003 to protect live-born survivors of abortion? Summary and comment by NRLC spokesman Douglas Johnson: "Newly obtained documents prove that in 2003, Barack Obama, as chairman of an Illinois state Senate committee, voted down a bill to protect live-born survivors of abortion -- even after the panel had amended the bill to contain verbatim language, copied from a federal bill passed by Congress without objection in 2002, explicitly foreclosing any impact on abortion. Obama's legislative actions in 2003 -- denying effective protection even to babies born alive during abortions -- were contrary to the position taken on the same language by even the most liberal members of Congress. The bill Obama killed was virtually identical to the federal bill that even NARAL ultimately did not oppose."

I'm not going to sit here and tell you that Obama is pleased with what happened in Florida. He he is human and I'm sure would feel quite sad about what transpired; but he does have an awful history when it comes to support of abortion. For more and Obama's stance on abortion, read the following:

his actions as a human legislator lead to these horror stories - i won't separate his 'human' side from those actions - he needs to be confronted with this
i wonder how many times this kinda stuff happens and are not brought to the public's attention - i also wonder about the humanity of the person that could place an infant in a trash bag and toss it out
it also makes me queasy that the bag was marked as a biohazzard
Yes, I know that I am painting with a large brush. I am not speaking individually, I am speaking generally. Certainly there are some people that I love very much, but as a whole I see mankind as a plague. Greed, corruption, lust for power and control, and lies are just some of the building blocks of man. America is supposed to be the last bastion of freedom, but as far as I can tell our government is as evil as it can be. There is is not enough good to outweigh the bad...not even close.

Under our 2nd President, criticizing the government would land you in jail.
Through the first half century, only rich landowners could vote.
And blacks and minorities were routinely abused up until recently, when they decided to take over the abusing themselves.

FDR managed to steer us into WW2 before things got better after his economic policies created something called the "great depression." I forget if that was the 5th or 6th "great depression" in the US. There have been so many.
Maybe you are right, maybe you are not. As far as I can tell, we are living in 1930’s Germany, and few of us realize just what our government has become. We are in trouble, real serious trouble. Nazism is nothing more than man exercising the greatest possible control over another man, and that is the road we now travel upon.
This is an old thread but I’d just like to say that I agree with you about all of that.
