“I don’t see a contiguous West Bank and Gaza without a divided Israel”.

Not contiguous West Bank and Gaza would not be a problem if they were peaceful.

1. There are island nations comprising of a number of islands - people get from place to place somehow. Indonesia consists of 17,508 islands, about 6,000 of which are inhabited (wiki). They function. Or take the past colonial powers: they had to travel, but it worked.

2. Hawaii and Alaska.

3. An elevated highway system is not a problem. Just look what fellow Arabs in Dubai are building: marvels of architecture.

4. The main problem is the same as in this conflict - security of Israel. Without terrorism threat even open road, no fences highway would work. People in Europe have free unrestricted travel everywhere, no problem.

5. Obama, cut the bullsh**. Continuity is not a problem without hostilities. But if they choose a war - they have to suffer the consequences.

Alaska and the continental US. And without a road the sovereign territory of the USA.

Of course the contiguous link has been US policy for several years now.
