"I say we get out the popcorn and watch them kill each other in the ring." I was watching some fool today claiming that the people would really be pissed at Republicans for holding this bill up. My immediate reaction (other than spewing coffee with a guffaw) was to ask myself: Who taught this fool logic? Democrats have complete control of Washington and Republicans will be blamed? Obama and the Democrats (sounds like a '50s band doesn't it) are in a real pickle. If this bill passes along a partisan line and fails, they will be solely and squarely to blame. So they want GOP members on board very badly. I think Republicans will be fools to vote for this. It'll pass anyway and if it works, it will be Obama that gets the credit. We won't be seeing any "we voted for the bail out too" GOP posters in 2012.
