That still doesn’t make any sense to me. The proposal of closing of Gitmo was a huge move for his base. And for all the leftys and pro-BO muslims there are just as many Americans who will be horrified at this.
It is so capricious and strange.

My guess is that this is because this is the one case in which he wasn't granted the 120 day delay for review he wanted. My guess is these charges are being dropped to get around that and my assumption is charges will be refiled after the 120 day review. Otherwise, just dropping charges without refiling would be insane and I doubt BHO is insane.
