I hope the POTUS drives back to DC from Williamsburg. I hope he finds the time to stop and pay his respects at the Mechanicsville bridge over I-295 named in memory of Kenneth Eugene Clodfelter.

I hope he takes a good long time and studies the hopeful, promising, full of potential faces in the page you posted, Diogenesis. And I hope he grasps just what it was and forever will be that these fine, beautiful, sons and daughters so willingly and selflessly gave so that guys like himself can be where they are, doing what they are doing, today.

God rest and keep you, Cooter. You are missed, never forgotten.

Don’t hold your breath. I don’t think zero has any grasp of what our military do or their dedication and sacrifice. I don’t think you will ever see him visiting the wounded warriors or meeting with the families of the wounded and fallen like our former REAL POTUS unless it involves a photo op or votes.
