can't vouch for the following, it's Liz's research. Rahm Emanuel apparently lives tax free in a magnificent Chicago mansion owned by "The Rahm Emanuel and Amy Rule Charitable Foundation." According to the Cook County Assessor’s website, the Chicago home of four-term Democrat Congressman and new White House Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, doesn’t exist. While the address of 4228 North Hermitage is listed as Emanuel’s residence on the Illinois State Board of Elections’ website, there seems to be no public record of Emanuel ever paying property taxes on this home… Why would 4228 North Hermitage property owners Rahm Emanuel and wife Amy Rule not pay property taxes? Because Emanuel and Rule declared their 4228 North Hermitage home as the "office" for their tax-exempt non-profit foundation called the “Rahm Emanuel and Amy Rule Charitable Foundation”. I just checked out the Rahm Emanuel Amy Rule Charitable Foundation, it is apparently true. I found links to articles about the foundation and the tax avoidance, dating back to NOV 10, 2008. The foundation has only two donors, Rahm and Amy.
I am creating my own charitable foundation lol. How do they get away with it? say there is a 90% admin fee, the 10% is the tithe they give to chruch?
I don’t think that Rahm Emanuel donates to any church, he’s Jewish. Aside from that, he’s a democRAT. There motto is, taxes for thee, but not for me. I guess that they think that their work to toward the redistribution of wealth qualifies them as a charitable foundation.
