They need to put it in terms a liberal can understand. How many SUV’s is the volcano equal to each hour. How many carbon credits would it take to neutralize the gas Gaia is putting out?

How about how many liberals must be thrown into the crater to propitiate the volvano god and make everything carbon neutral?

From a related story on National Geo:
“In 1989 a Boeing 747 flew through an ash plume from Redoubt Volcano in Alaska and lost power to all four engines. The plane glided for four minutes, dropping nearly 12,000 feet (3,700 meters). It recovered just a few thousand feet from the ground. “

This news article is a little dated, Redoubt has quieted down much to the dismay of many news outlets.
Sorry MSM, even Alaskan volcanoes refuse to jump to your propaganda hoops.
I live 140 miles or so NE of Redoubt, here is the best source for information:

More likely, just cause the Gods indigestion.
OTOH, if we throw enough of them in, it just might cause things to come to a grinding halt. It's worth a try.

Full Moon 02/09/09 @ 0550 AST.
If I were Mt. Redoubt, I’d blow around that time.
I was there for the 1989 eruption. Still have a can of volcano fart labeled “Mt. Redoubt Kicks Ash”.
