The comment is related to the recent incident with David Milliband, the foreign secretary of the UK. Milliband recently visited India, and created a diplomatic storm by saying that finishing the Kashmir dispute will end terrorism in India. (In other words appeasing the terrorists and giving them victory). India showed a lot of displeasure at this comment and basically told him that (my words) he is a young buffoon who should butt out of this issue he does not understand. Needless to say, Milliband's visit became rather cold and uncomfortable, and he went home after creating a rift between the two countries. Shortly after his visit the British trade minister arrived in India, but was given a lukewarm reception. The British PM had to clarify on Millibands comments, saying that they were his own personal views.

It is believed that Milliband's views are shared by his left-wing brothers in the U.S. So India's reaction to Milliband was supposed to send a message to the Obama admin.

Exactly. A better explanation couldn’t have been worded.

For a diplomat, Milli sure put both feet in his mouth.

What a Putz.

Additionally, the significance of his remarks is that it gave sustenance to the IslamabadPakistani Military and State in their desire to keep Kashmir inflamed, and also their jihadi buddies in Kashmir, directly encouraging jihadis in Kashmir to keep killing Indians.

He gave tremendous encouragement to those who advocate jihad, as it validated their entire philosophy.

Perversely enough, he has also encouraged more murderous attacks in the UK by the jihadis his country seems infested with.
