Wow! I never thought of Beyonce as “chopless”! She’s got enough of the other stuff.

She was very popular in the late 60’s. I still have her 45, “In the Basement Part 1 and Part II”. She is an Icon to me. I thought she was better than Aretha Franklin. During the whole Psychadelic Music Movement all my friends would say here (my name) comes with all her soul crap music.
I was into Millie Jackson, Isaac Hayes, Melvin and the Blue Notes, the Manhattens, Al Green, etc and many non-commercial R & B/Soul entertainers. Was never really into the Motown Sound as it was too much crossover for me at the time. This went on into the early 80’s as well. Then came rap and Hip Hop and that was it for me, LOL!

Didn’t this Beyonce _itch play Etta James in a recent movie about the Chess Brothers that had only one Chess Brother in it played by Adrian Brody?
Go somewhere on-line or to your local music outlet and listen to some of James’ numbers. She’s one of the best at her venue, whether or not that’s your “thing” she rocks!
