I doubt they’re for dissidents. More likely to be used in the event of floods, hurricanes etc.
Still is can be used as a club against the democrats.
Swing at will.
intolerant, leftist totalitarians anyone?
IMHO
NEWS FLASH!!!! - This effort began under the Bush administration.
If you read the article closely, you will see that millions have ALREADY been spent converting and constructing centers for training and emergency response....with the capability of detaining individuals during times of national emergency defined by the president w/o congressional oversight.
Hint hint.....civil unrest due to economic hardtimes could very well be construed as a national emergency.
The government in Iceland was brought down by massive “non-violent protest” recently. Just a thought and my humble lil ol opinion.
The article does not say a thing about the government having the power to compel people to go to those. It authorizes the government to create places for disaster displaced people. Unless it is true that the bill (which probably has little support anyway) allows the government to force people to these places it seems to me the author of the piece is a black helicopter chicken little.
The WND original article also says nothing about the government being able to force people to these either. Barring that critical piece of information its impossible to come to their paranoid comparison linking this to Nazi Germany and even then it takes a gigantic leap.
“Arbeit Mach Frei”
Where did you read that? It isn't in the bill and you have to use a lot of imagination to put it there.
Aside from this being posted no less than a dozen time already this week, these stories are short on fact and long on speculation. Yours especially.
Arbeit Macht Frei
Alcee’s got some land he wants to sell the government for these “camps”.
It may be a little premature and paranoid to call them concentration camps. But you can decide for yourself.
Go to:
Type in HR 645, select the ‘Bill Number’ radio button and hit Search.
Its something to keep in mind that if it was to be these concentration or detention centers there would be a massive shutdown of any facts concerning who is there, the spin would be “terrorists, dangerous dissidents” but in truth could be your next door neighbors family.
We should be prepared to implement ways and means to storm these these camps of holding Americans against their free will regardless of the consequences that in fact may very well harbor real criminals, but then again if we need many many “Dirty Dozens” then it shall be done, and I for one would not hesitate to consider existing incarceration areas if push came to shove.
Imagine the squeals of concern from the libtards if they were told there was a possibility extremist groups would break into prisons all across America to recruit prisoners to re-take back and re-instate a legal government?
Oh the horrors if it was ever imagined that pardons could be issued if former prisoners agree to take up arms that ordinary citizens could not and form a well maintained militia as stated in our Constitution.
Ohh the huge-manatee!
Just thinking about a scenario is interesting.
“Swing” carefully,
lest you appear to be a kook.
I’d point at the record and the statements of the bill’s sponsor, as relates to what he’d like to do with dissidents.
However, Hastings rant concerning Sarah Palin is a strong indication of what he wants these camps for.

Well let’s look at the historical record of the 20th century:
It was a ‘Rat President (FDR) that rounded up Japanese and put them into internment camps.
How many Republican Presidents have acted likewise?
I fail to see the correlation. And what's with the lousy grammar?
The only problem with these secret detention centers is the fact that they don’t exist. I’ve been to the Raco field “detention center” within the last year and I hate to tell you but it’s not there.
