Never underestimate the stupidity of American voters. 20 some percent are lefties, that leaves about 30% who bought the change slogan. They are uninformed and really don’t care to be informed. They will not realize their enslavement until the chains start to dig into their flash.

I completely agree, but I would add this:
We have roughly 3+ generations of public school products. These people have no ability to think critically, and have been indoctrinated into socialism. It’s not that they don’t realize the chains are being placed on them... they wish for it.
I have been really sad since the election. I had become convinced that the majority of the voters, legal and illegal (I live in CA), really must be Socialists. I was relieved to hear that Rush doesn’t believe that the majority of Americans are Socialists. The Leftists wackos had their day on November 4th. I think the sheeple are now waking to the fact that Zero IS a Socialist and they want to put on the brakes. The more control Government takes the less control we have over our own lives. Sadly most people here don’t have a passing acquaintance with Socialism. Americans are naive. Once Socialist policies are enacted it is really tough to get rid of them. I lived in Britain in the 80’s. Baroness Thatcher was trying to undo much of the Socialism at the time. She did a great job but Britain is still shackled by too many Socialist programs. Pray that it doesn’t get a strong foothold here. Socialism is a really unhappy place to be.
