Barry needs to watch more “24”.

Better to be a little paranoid than a lot DEAD.

“When we get people who are more concerned about reading the rights to an Al Qaeda terrorist than they are with protecting the United States against people who are absolutely committed to do anything they can to kill Americans, then I worry,”

Thanks Dick. Correct as usual.

“And he asserted that President Obama will either backtrack on his stated intentions to end those policies or put the county at risk in ways more severe than most Americans—and, he charged, many members of Obama’s own team—understand. “

Dick Cheney is exactly right.

I hope we hear more from Cheney—after all Clinton and Gore never kept their big mouths shut after 1/20/01.

American lives may be saved.

Keep talking, Dick. The adults aren’t in charge anymore and Obam has put us at risk.

Of course the day after another terrorist attack in a US city, Barry-boy will go on TV and say “I screwed up”. All the tv newsreaders and newspaper reporters will go “awwwwww - he looks so contrite. Let’s get him a pony!” and all will be forgiven.

No, for a screw up that bad, he will blame anybody and everybody except himself. The purpose behind a politician’s admission of error on a small thing is to avoid an admission of error on large things. It’s like an inoculation of sorts.

For a screw up as bad as a terrorist attack on a U. S. city, he will blame talk radio and conservatives.

You’d think that knowing this truth, the Republicans -starting from the top, would have gone far and beyond to make SURE obama didn’t get elected.

Instead, they gave us McCain.

Mr. Cheney, You’re a good man, but why didn’t you guys work harder to fix the party, if even for the safety of your grandchildren who will most likely have to live through this pending attack in the few years to come?

“high probability” that terrorists will attempt a catastrophic nuclear or biological attack in coming years:

If these terrorist unleached a “dirty bomb” outside of Fayetteville NC—home of Ft Bragg—I honestly believe that many of the media, the leftist elite and their useful idiots would be quite happy.........

Instead, they gave us McCain.

Off topic, but I often wonder exactly who it was that gave us McCain. As near as I can determine, there really hasn't been enough discussion on the Democrat version of Operation Chaos in those important early states - the ones that vaulted Mac into an insurmountable lead.

IMHO, we need to seriously look at completely overhauling the nominating process to reflect modern realities and huge changes in technology and communications from when the system was instituted.

For one thing, only registered Republicans should be able to vote in ANY state's primary. This won't completely prevent abuse, but it will help. Another good idea might be a National Primary Day, so states beyond Iowa and NH get a say in the process before money dictates an inevitable conclusion, a la Mccain.

Kudos for VP Cheney speaking out and speaking truthfully. Enough of this “kiss his converse” mentality that Republicans have shown Obammie the Commie.

This is one of many reasons I’m certain this country is going to miss the Bush Administration more than it now realizes.

The former VP is voice of sanity amidst this circus sideshow that’s been this administration.

How I miss President Bush and Vice President Cheney—and it’s only been two weeks.

IMHO it was the press that gave us McCain. They loved him because he was Democrat Lite.
