McCain Will Campaign for McDonnell [barf]
The Washington Post ^ | 2009-02-03 | Anita Kumar

Attorney General Robert F. McDonnell, the Republican nominee for governor, said today that former presidential nominee, Arizona Sen. John McCain, will travel to Virginia to campaign for him next month.

McDonnell also said he expects to travel across the nation, including Texas, Chicago, Palm Beach and New York, for fundraisers.

"I have been fortunate to get some pretty broad support from some major political leaders," he said.

Mike Huckabee, the guitar-playing Baptist preacher and former Arkansas governor, will appear with McDonnell in the spring. Govs. Sarah Palin (Alaka), Rick Perry (Tex.), Charlie Crist (Fla.) and Mark Sanford (S.C.) are all expected to host fundraisers for McDonnell, GOP sources said.

Fomer Tennessee senator Fred Thompson, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and former New York mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani already held fundraisers for McDonnell.

Palin, Perry, and Sanford are welcome to visit Virginia, but Crist, the Huckster, and especially McLame...please go away.

Go away, McCain. Don't come here to Virginia. You're not wanted.

***McCain Will Campaign for McDonnell [barf]***

At first I read “McCain Will Campaign for barf” and it didn’t even cause suspicion. Honestly, what can you expect from McCain in the political arena?

John, we all respect your military service, but get the hell out of politics PLEASE!!!

Good chance for a GOP pickup, eh? McAuliffe is a hack and a phoney who doesn’t even inspire Democrats.

I was against McCain in Primaries last year. I am strongly against him making another run for president in 2012.

However I have no problem if he wants to work for getting other republicans elected.

“Second Place: The First Loser.”

I sincerely wish the first-runner-up would stop trying to enhance his resume with that bit of “career work experience.”

Wow! committing political suicide right out of the gate! Good riddance McDonnell. Didn't like that name anyways. Reminds me of an ugly fat leftwing lesbian moonbat.

It was nice of you to expose yourself for being completely out of touch with the REAL Republican party, the Palin base! We've had enough of you dinosaur,... er RINO Republicans, clueless about anything going on in the country and world except the old boys club.

LOL McCain won’t run in 2012, if he does he is even crazier then I thought. Let’s see, people this time around thought “What if McCain dies, he’s so old” yet he thinks that in 4 years he will get what, younger. He’s done, and he can’t get enough of the press, he was all over Fox News today talking about how the stimulus package must die, Oh really McCain, if you are SO against the stimulus package, how come you voted for the damn bailout, not only voted for it, but suspended your freakin Campaign to vote yes

Why is this "barf"?
John McCain is not Ronald Reagan. Got it. But he's a HECK of a lot better (and he and Sarah) were obviously better than what we have now. I don't get the McCain criticism. Look at the alternative we have now. How scary sad.

I never got his support of the bailout. I mean, once Lehman/AIG/Fannie all collapsed in a 3 day span the dow sunk like a stone, the campaign was pretty much over, but the bailout was really his last chance to even be competitive.

Obama and the dems had spent hundreds of millions and had billions worth of msm support in saying McCain was the same as Bush and using that 90% voting record thing. It worked very well, as it ought to with that kind of money behind it.

Kind of ironic as McCain can’t stand Bush and was actually the only one in the gop to relaly take him on and try and stop him in 2000 and he ended up losing his chance at the WH in large part because he ended up being tarred with Bush’s record and unpopularity.

Anyway, the bailout was a golden chance for him to split with Bush, and put Bush and Obama on the same side, in front of the whole country. All he had to do in that 1st debate was repeat over and over something to the effect of “You can keep saying I’m President Bush all you want but your now asking the American people to put their hard earned in money in the hands of you and the President so you can spend hundreds of billions. You and the Preisdent want to take 700 billion from the people and I want them to keep it.” And just harp on that incessantly.

I still think he would have lost as once the economy went south in Spetember it probably became impossible for a Republican to win, but if he dad done that it would have been much closer, he definitely would have won IN and NC, probably FL, and he wouldn’t have been spread so thin by the end.

That whole week where he suspended his campaign and said he’d go to DC to lead negotiations the endup failing and he said he’d skip the debate, he just fell apart for a few days and it cost him whatever small shot he had left.

Oh well.

I like how Huckabee is first billed as the “guitar playing Baptist preacher” even ahead of his gubenatorial experience. Kind of disrespectful if you ask me.

And the Post says Gov palin is the governor of “Alaka”??? Must be one of those 57 states Obama campaigned in. Pretty embarassing for the top daily in the nation’s capital and our top political daily to not even know how to spell the name of one of the states.

Not really. He's Obama Lite, as evidenced by his "stimulus" proposal that undercut DeMint.
